Download this information as a flyer here: Digital Experience Workshop Flyer

    Overview

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Division (MHWD) is in the process of co-producing a digital experience, for example, a website prototype or design, that supports Victorians in navigating mental health and wellbeing information and services that they need at relevant moments in their or their loved one’s mental health journey.

As per the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System, people with lived and living experiences of mental health challenges and/or substance use or addiction and their supporters (family, kin, carer, support person) are invited to contribute to this digital experience.

Today Strategic Design has been engaged by The Department of Health to facilitate this process through a series of six workshops from August to September 2022.

The workshop facilitators are seeking to engage a diverse group of people with lived and living experience of mental health challenges, to contribute to the design of a ‘digital experience’ (a website prototype or design) that will help provide Victorians with clear, up-to-date information about Victoria’s mental health and wellbeing system.

These workshops will include up to 12 family members, kin, carers, or supporters of a person with lived and living experience of mental health challenges.

Please note, there is absolutely no expectation that participants are “tech savvy” and we encourage expressions of interest from Tandem Participation Register members with diverse and varied levels of technical skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Through these workshops participants will contribute to the project goals to:

    • define the opportunities for digital experiences

    • articulate the vision for the digital product

    • co-design digital experiences

    • test the digital experience with support from experienced facilitators

Engagement period Wednesday 3 August 2022 to Wednesday 28 September 2022
